Are the staff available around the clock?
Yes, hotel staff are available 24/7. In case of emergencies, our staff will be there to assist you.
Do you have parking available?
Unfortunately, we do not have parking on-site. Please use the nearby coin-operated parking lots.
How many minutes does it take to walk from the nearest station?
It takes about 12 minutes on foot from Imadegawa Station on the Karasuma Subway Line, heading west along Imadegawa Dori.
What time is check-in and check-out? (Can I extend my stay?)
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Room extensions are not available.
Can I change my planned check-in time?
Yes, it is possible. If your check-in time is after 9:00 PM, please kindly inform the hotel in advance.
Can I store my luggage before check-in or after check-out?
Yes, you can use the baggage room next to the front desk. Please note that space is limited, so kindly consult the front desk if you wish to use it. We may not be able to accept items such as valuables, fragile items, perishables, hazardous materials, or items with strong odors, depending on their nature. Additionally, there may be other reasons we are unable to store certain items, so we appreciate your understanding in advance.
Is it possible to check in after 24:00?
Yes, it is possible. After 24:00, the hotel entrance is locked. Please contact the front desk using the mobile intercom located next to the entrance.
Can I check in early on the day of arrival?
Early check-in may be available depending on the situation, for an additional fee of 1,500 yen (tax included) per hour. Please contact the front desk for more details.
Could you tell me about sleeping arrangements for children?
Children under 6 years old can sleep in the same bed as an adult at no extra charge. However, if the child requires their own bed or is 6 years old or older, they will be charged the same rate as an adult. Please note that no towels, pillows, or other amenities will be provided for children sleeping in the same bed, so please make sure to bring your own.
Do you have baby cribs or bed guards?
Baby cribs are available for rent. For those staying in a family room, futons are also an option. Please contact the hotel in advance if needed. Availability is limited, and rentals will end once all cribs are reserved.
Is it possible for minors to stay alone?
For guests under 8 years old, a consent form from a parent or guardian is required. Please send the form in advance to the hotel’s email address: info@en.kyoto-pleasanthotel.com.
What is the maximum occupancy for the rooms?
The Twin room accommodates up to 2 guests, and the Family Room accommodates up to 3 guests.
Can you arrange for adjacent rooms if I book multiple rooms?
We will do our best to accommodate your request. However, depending on the availability on the day, we may not be able to fulfill the request. Thank you for your understanding.
Can I request a specific Concept Twin room?
You can make your request in advance by phone. However, depending on the availability on the day, we may not be able to accommodate your request. Thank you for your understanding.
What if I left something at the hotel?
For valuable items, we will notify you as soon as they are found. If we cannot reach you, the item will be kept at the hotel for 7 days and then handed over to the police on the 8th day. Food and beverages will be discarded immediately for hygiene reasons and will not be kept. Other items will be stored for 14 days, and after the 15th day, they will be disposed of. (No notification will be sent from the hotel for non-valuable items.)
Are there non-smoking rooms?
The entire hotel is non-smoking indoors. However, there is a designated smoking area outside for your use.
Is the hotel open 24 hours for entry and exit?
Generally, entry and exit are free. However, for security reasons, the main entrance is locked from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Guests can notify the front desk using the mobile intercom located next to the entrance.
What kind of nightwear is provided?
We provide “samue” (traditional Japanese garments) for use in the guest room. Please feel free to pick your preferred color from the amenity bar located next to the front desk. Unfortunately, we do not have nightwear available for children, so we kindly ask that you bring your own from home.
What amenities are provided in the guest rooms?
In the guest rooms, you will find bath towels, face towels, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, face & hand soap, room temperature water, tea, and coffee.
Additionally, the following items are available at the amenity bar next to the front desk. Please feel free to take as needed: slippers, razors, hairbrushes, hairbands, shower caps, body towels, clean sets, makeup remover, facial cleanser, toner, and lotion.
How many room keys are provided?
For each room, a maximum of 2 keys are provided. If only one guest is staying, 1 key will be given.
Are pets allowed to stay?
No, pets are not allowed.
Is there a coin laundry?
Yes, there are 2 machines on the 3rd floor (paid service).
How can I book activities?
You can book activities in advance through our website, or you can also make reservations on the day using our in-house app.
What is the Pop Culture Park?
The Pop Culture Park is a second-floor area where you can enjoy games, comics, all-you-can-drink options, and Noodle Tours (ramen) while staying at the hotel. After paying the entrance fee of 1,500 yen per person per day, you can use the space as much as you like during your stay. This service is exclusively available for hotel guests.
What are the operating hours for the Pop Culture Park?
For security reasons, the Pop Culture Park closes at 12:00 AM. For guests staying multiple nights, the space is available again from 7:00 AM the following morning.
How can I enter the Pop Culture Park?
You can enter the Pop Culture Park using a smart lock passcode. The passcode will be sent to your smartphone once you have made your reservation.
Can I bring my own manga or games into the room?
For safety reasons, bringing your own manga or games is not allowed. Please enjoy them in the designated areas.
What is Noodle Tours Vending Machine?
Noodle Tours offers the taste of famous ramen restaurants through a frozen vending machine. You can enjoy a high-quality ramen experience by heating the noodles and soup in the eat-in space, and it tastes as fresh as if it were not frozen. (Paid service)
Are there drinks vending machines?
We do not have drinks vending machines, but in the Pop Culture Park and rental rooms, we offer an all-you-can-drink service for both alcoholic and soft beverages.
Is there a microwave?
Yes, there is a microwave available in the eat-in space on the 2nd floor.
What is a rental room?
The rental rooms allow you to book one of four uniquely themed rooms for private use (paid service). These rooms include a video streaming studio, eSports room, kids’ room, and board game room. Each room also comes with an all-you-can-drink service.
Do you have rental bicycles?
Yes, we do. It’s smoother to make a reservation in advance via the website, but reservations are also available during your stay.
Do you offer kimono or yukata rentals?
We don’t offer rentals at the hotel, but we can recommend kimono rental shops within walking distance. We also provide free rental of traditional umbrellas for rainy days.
Do you offer stroller rentals?
Unfortunately, we do not have stroller rentals available.
What are some recommended spots near the hotel?
We offer a comprehensive guidebook featuring dining spots and attractions within a 1km radius of the hotel, available for our guests. You can also find additional information on nearby sightseeing and restaurants through our website and in-house app. Feel free to use these resources to explore the area!
Is it possible to send luggage in advance?
Please call the hotel beforehand and provide the following information:
Name of the person with the reservation (guest)
Name of the sender
Details and quantity of the items being sent
Make sure to use the name of the guest with the reservation when sending the package. If the name on the package does not match the reservation name, the hotel will refuse to accept it for security reasons.
Additionally, due to limited cloakroom space, please arrange for the delivery to arrive the day before your stay. Cash-on-delivery (COD) shipments are not accepted.
Is delivery service (e.g., Uber Eats) available?
Deliveries can be picked up at the front desk. To prevent any issues, direct deliveries to guest rooms are strictly prohibited.
